The comes a point where you have to ask yourself 'What's going to happen if I *really* critique this guy's work?'.  You have to leave yourself open to the backlash and hope that the recipient of the crit is as objective as you were.

With regards to my skills as a photographer I'm quite far from where I would like to be and so I whole-heartedly welcome critique.  Due to my desire for constructive crit I have found myself critiquing other peoples submissions more and more recently.  I suppose it's down to me believing that you get out of a community what you put in. Don't get me wrong, I take criticism as badly as the next man but, if it's constructive, I'll take it on board.  ;)

Gotta love post production don't you?  Actually no, no you don't.  Post production is the boil on the arse of humanity.  I know that just because I *can* do all sorts of sh*t to my images I don't have to but... I honestly don't know how digital photographers put up with it before the advent that was Lghtroom/Aperture.  I'm sorry to all you hardcore digigraphers but the Bridge/Photoshop combo was sh*te! Rant over.
